# Depositing Tokens & Retreating

When you click on a bunker, you will be presented with your available options to interact with that bunker. If you haven't deposited yet your only option will be to deploy tokens.

You will need to approve the tokens before depositing, and the interface will show your current available tokens and allowance.

Once you have deployed, the interface will reflect your new deployed amount and give you more options, including deploying more tokens and retreat.

Retreating can only be done BEFORE you take a combat action (Attack/Defend and Move are both considered combat actions).

Retreating will withdraw all of your tokens from the game, at which point you will be safe from damage and will no longer be eligible for emissions.
